Ceresine and Ozokerite Waxes are predominantly complex hydrocarbons formulated into specialty waxes, custom blended to the customer's needs. Years of formulation and production experience meeting a wide array of industrial needs has helped Strahl & Pitsch develop a full range of Ceresine and Ozokerite Waxes.
They are consistent and reproducible from batch to batch, with specific properties critical to the formulator, including melt point, hardness, viscosity, penetration, gel strength and color.
These waxes are used in a wide range of applications where consistency is necessary to insure uniformity of finished product in today's quality-conscious world.
Ceresine Waxes typically melt between 130-160 degrees Fahrenheit, while Ozokerite Waxes generally melt at the higher range of 140-200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Both waxes are non-toxic and non-hazardous, thus permitting use in countless personal-care applications.

Forms available: Both specialty waxes are available in slabs or pastilles.
Typical applications for both waxes include: Cosmetics, Creams, Pharmaceuticals, Pomades, Salves/Ointments, Coatings, Lubricants, Water Proofing, Adhesives, Polishes, Varnishes.
Compatibility: Ceresine Waxes and Ozokerite Waxes are compatible with most animal, vegetable and mineral waxes, as well as mineral oils and petrolatums.

Both Ceresine Waxes and Ozokerite Waxes are approved for end use under regulations 21CFR 175.105 and are CTFA listed.
